Golden milk—also known as turmeric latte—is more than just a cozy, comforting drink. It’s a centuries-old remedy rooted in Ayurvedic tradition, celebrated for its anti-inflammatory, immune-supporting, and calming properties. Whether you’re winding down before bed or starting your day with a mindful ritual, this warm tonic is a nourishing go-to.

Here’s how to make it from scratch:
✨ Golden Milk Recipe
Ingredients
-
1½ cups unsweetened almond or coconut milk
-
1 teaspoon dried turmeric
-
½ teaspoon dried ginger
-
½ teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon
-
â…› teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
-
1 teaspoon coconut oil
-
Pinch of Himalayan pink salt
-
1 tablespoon raw honey or a few drops of dark liquid stevia (to taste)
Directions
-
In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients except the honey or stevia.
-
Stir gently while heating, and slowly bring to a light boil.
-
Once it reaches a gentle boil, turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.
-
Pour into your favorite mug, stir in the honey or stevia, and enjoy!
Pro tip: The black pepper enhances the absorption of curcumin, turmeric’s most powerful compound—so don’t skip it!
